Caroline Lee

Caroline Lee is a natural foods cook with a background in nutrition and herbalism.

Her passion is cooking for people who have discovered their food sensitivities, specializing in assisting those who have specific medical concerns as well as for people who are simply discovering the joy of fresh foods.

Caroline’s interest in whole foods nutrition started in 2001 with her education at The Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies.  In 2003, she was certified as a clinical herbalist and later went on to study with Paul Bergner at the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism.

Her approach towards healing focuses on treating the whole person rather than the symptoms.  In chronic disease, it is necessary to include different healing modalities that are specific to the individual.  Lifestyle, diet, constitution and belief systems all need to be taken into account and adjusted accordingly when identifying the root cause.  A strong believer in the Wise Woman Tradition (Spirit and Practice of the Wise Woman), Caroline promotes a gentle and nourishing path to wellness.  She has been cooking for several local groups as well as privately and is available to collaborate with health practitioners.  She is able to design a menu that is specific for the individual and their health needs.  Her talent lies in adapting menus to suit tastes and benefit her client’s well-being.

Some of her most influential teachers include:

Chris Davidson from Ancient Ways Shamanic Training

Ann Drucker from Herbal Healing Arts (www.herbalhealingarts.com)

Paul Bergner from The North American Institute of Medical Herbalism (naimh.com)
