Lean forward against a desk or countertop, as if you are about to do a standing push-up. Make sure your body is straight and your feet are together and about 3 feet back from the desk or counter.
Turn your head to the RIGHT as far as you comfortably can.
Swing your RIGHT leg outward in a wide arc till your toe touches the ground just behind and beyond your left leg and foot.* Then bring your RIGHT foot back to rest beside your left foot. Repeat this swing two more times.
Turn your head to the LEFT as far as you comfortably can.
Repeat the RIGHT-leg arc three times exactly as described above.
Next, with your head still turned to the LEFT, swing your LEFT leg outward in a wide arc till your toe touches the ground just behind and beyond your right leg and foot.* Then bring your LEFT foot back to rest beside your right foot. Repeat this swing two more times.
Turn your head to the RIGHT as far as you comfortably can.
Repeat the LEFT-leg arc three times exactly as described above.
If you are a dowser, use your pendulum to determine whether your tailbone is properly set.
*This should be a gentle, controlled swing. Remember to keep your body straight—do not bend at the waist or arch your back. Your shoulders should stay down.
