Dressings

BASIC MAYONNAISE DRESSING

1 tsp. wet mustard

1/2 C olive oil

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 C mayonnaise

1-2 tsp. miso

2 tsp. lemon juice

Blend in blender.

 

BASIC ITALIAN DRESSING

1 1/2 C olive oil

1/2 C apple cider vinegar

1 tsp. sea salt

1 tsp.  Italian seasoning

Blend in blender.

 

BASIC TAHINI DRESSING

1 clove garlic, pressed

1/2 C flax oil

1/4 C lemon juice

1 tsp. dry mustard

1/4 C tahini

Blend in blender.

BASIC BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE

1C olive oil

1/4 C balsamic vinegar

1/2 T dijon mustard

3 T filtered water

T agave

1clove fresh garlic

sea salt to taste

Blend all ingredients in a blender.

 

ORIENTAL DRESSING

4 T rice vinegar

2 T soy sauce

2 tsp. grated ginger

2 tsp. toasted sesame oil

2 tsp. green onions, finely chopped

1 clove garlic, peeled & mashed

1 tsp. honey

3/4 C olive oil

2 tsp. flax oil

Combine all ingredients in jar and shake or use blender.

 

LEMON ROSEMARY GARLIC DRESSING

1 C raw, organic apple cider vinegar

1 1/2 C pure water

1/2 C freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 T minced garlic

1/2 tsp. pepper

1/2 tsp. celery seed

6 T red onion, diced

2 T red pepper, diced

1 tsp. dill weed

2 T fresh parsley, minced

3 tsp. sea salt

2 T dried rosemary, crushed, or 4 T fresh rosemary, crushed

1 tsp. xanthan gum (thickener)

Blend first 12 ingredients, then xanthan gum; blend or shake well.  Refrigerate

overnight.  Try over diced chicken and mixed green salad

 

POPPY SEED GODDESS DRESSING

1 C mayonnaise (see homemade recipe below)

2 t lemon or lime juice

2 T homemade pesto sauce (see below)

1 T honey

2 t wet mustard

Mix all ingredients together.  Adjust seasonings to taste.  Will keep in refrigerator in a sealed mason jar for 2 days.
